Mareva Rana is a french rapper which by the name of Chilla. She sings froma long time but started a career not long ago, she was noticed by big names of french rap, like, Bigflo and Oli which let her sing for the first part of their concerts. Her first album, karma, just came out, it consist of 10 tittles worked with one of the biggest french producer, TEFA.

For French speakers, which is most of Chilla's audience, an illustrative narrative music video is a way of reinforcing the meaning of the songs and for them to make the relation with the fruits or certain shots that will appear where the interpretation of the audience can change depending on how he sees it. As her audience is very local and specific the visuals will be based on that, some shots will require understanding of the language but the overall idea can be understood by non-french speakers by having a narrative illustrative music video that will help them understand the meaning of the song without understanding the lyrics, some shots won't make sense to them but combined all together they might be able to.

Most of her music video pictures her in a masculine way as you can see on the three last youtube video. She posed in a way men would, she is imitating "gang" which is not common for girls to be control of.
On her cover, she is shown in a feminine look but her personal pictures on social media, she shows a more masculine aspect but on the other hand this could be consider as a street trend.
