PRELIMINARY TASK A2

P H O T O G R A P H Y

After taking AS media studies, I continued taking pictures and I experimented more by using different location, props and tried using more tools on photoshop

The photoshoots in the link of the left picture, were planned with my colleague with who I did the magazine, we look at outfits we would have like, a location where we could get some nice shots and experimental shots. We took those pictures in our free times, for us to improve our skills. I used a Fujifilm X-pro 2 with a fixed lens, the same one I used for the photoshoot in the link of the right picture. This photoshoot wasn't planned, I took pictures of my friend that join me during my visit of the botanical garden, the fact that it wasn't planned allowed me to get more genuine pictures and represent her in her own style.

All my pictures, I edited in Adobe Photoshop where I edited the skin of the models and colors of the pictures.

i n s p i r a t i o n : Those vinyls inspire me because of their composition. The way they mixed a simple colored background with a picture and a simple font.

their simplicity makes them more intriguing

Below, you can see the vinyl I created using Adobe inDesign to create the front cover and the back cover then used a mockup in photoshop and place the files. By creating this I learned more the conventions of the digipak and vinyls. I used very minimal fonts and very reduced range of colors for all the focus to be on the photography and the artist's face and expression.

I didn't plan this music video because I wanted to get an genuine result of just a trip happening and seeing it pass along with the song. I used Final Cut Pro to edited. It was the first using it so I played around and discover the program even though it doesn't reflected it in the video
