Chilla, the artist that I chose has no website because nowadays it is easier to promote themselves through social media.
On the other hand, I searched similar style (french rap) and some artists have website just to sell merchandise like sweaters and t-shirts but as my artist is not famous yet having merchandise wouldn't make profits
Here you can see her social media's account from left to right; Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
Some Artist like Niska, a famous french rapper, doesn't have a website either but has a link you can find on his social media that shows all the platforms you can download and listen to his music. But as a more famous artist, he has a clothing company under his surname "Charo". Others famous artists like Lomepal and Stromae (mosaert) have only their clothing line website.
Bigflo and Oli, who are brothers singing French hip/hop, are one of the only website that I found that somehow correspond to the genre of my artist.
I researched other type of genre artist to find some website that I like and where I could analyse their conventions because I wouldn't be able to do with one genre and one website

By looking at different music genre website, I came to the conclusion of what was necessary in a music webiste :
1. Latest Music Video
2 . lastest album
3. Tours
4. discography and bibliography
5. links to social media platforms and links on where we can listen the music
After making research on website, I looked after the ones I liked and inspired me. I want to create a minimalist website and in my opinion the clothing Website which includes different types project like music video for other artist like Dua Lipa. The clothing website also includes a description of the artist Stromae.
As my artist is not as famous as him, I won't do the same types of contents as I will follow the conventional website for a singer but I like the simplicity of his website.

For my website, I want something simple but girly as my artist is represented with that style in her latest music video and album cover which more towards pink and purple colors.
I will use elements that are present in the music video and digipak such as the pomegranate, apple and egg which are the key elements of the branding that I want to create.
